About Us and Our Store
Thinking back to my childhood I can remember days of spinning round and round in the black leather “Charles and Ray Eames”-style chair in our living room watching the black and white TV or listening to records or the 8-track player. My parents, New Hampshire transplants from Boston, had a wonderful collection of mid century modern furniture that was all the rage back in the 1960′s when they decorated their first space. Today, I find myself to be incredibly passionate about passing on pieces to new homes. I greatly enjoy working with families, learning about their loved one and telling those stories to someone purchasing the item. Saving one piece of history at a time is what its all about!
My husband Jim grew up a natural born “picker” of vintage things, having a grandmother who owned and operated multiple second hand shops in the greater buffalo New York area. Jim is an auctioneer by trade and has always been a treasure hunter at heart.
We have both come to realize just what kind of “stuff” excites us — and, as you can see, it’s just what we sell. Hooray for vintage! Come see us, we’d love to meet you.
